and you can even have picnics.

FORT O'BRIEN (1775-1814)

• Upon visiting this location, you will see a few things. One of
these things is the scenery. You will be able to see an open
piece of land and a few bodies of water. You will also see
historical objects and plaques explaining the relevance of the
location. There are also hiking trails that will allow you to see
the nature outside of the immediate site.
• I chose this location because of the scenery. I mean, yeah, it
has great history, but I love to take pictures of random things,
and this seems like the perfect place to do so. It is very open
and the water will only make it better. The trails as well could
make a great image; however, I think it is cool how the same
location was rebuilt 3 times for 3 different wars in the span of
90 years only to be torn down time-after-time.
WASHINGTON CROSSING HISTORIC
PARK (1776)

• 1112 River Road Washington Crossing, PA
18977
• (215) - 493 – 4076
• The website says nothing about the cost of
visiting, but they have reenactments and tours
in which you must buy tickets for.
• Historic events and nature events are offered,
but you can visit and do just about anything
you would on a tour.
WASHINGTON CROSSING HISTORIC PARK (1776)

• At this place, you will see the river in which

Washington crossed, accompanied by the beautiful
scenery. You will see a few monuments with facts
carved into them, but over all, you will see lots of
historical related things if you are not overwhelmed
by the beautiful scenery.
• I chose this place, again because of the scenery. I
also liked the history behind it. I think it is cool how
one of our former presidents came across that river.
Personally, though, I loved the images of the
scenery. Again, I love photography, and this area
ignites a lot of ideas in me for possible pictures.
CATHEDRAL BASILICA OF ST.
AUGUSTINE (1793-1797)

• Facebook at: Cathedral Basilica of St.

Augustine
• 38 Cathedral Pl, St. Augustine, FL
32084
• (904) - 824 – 2806
• Adults is $18.00 each and kids 6-12 are
$12.00 each. Any child under 6 is free.
CATHEDRAL BASILICA OF ST. AUGUSTINE (1793-1797)

• While here, I will get to see the architecture from

back then. The inside is stunning, plus considering
St. Augustine is the longest settlement, I can learn
about the history of the settlement and see if this
location has any relation to them.
• I chose this place because I was fascinated by it
immediately. When doing my research I saw its
picture and just was intrigued immediately. On the
inside it is so mesmerizing and interesting. I am in
awe at the interior and genuinely want to know
more.
THE ALMO

• Here you can go on tours that are guided.

You have to look at the schedule, and plan
accordingly.
• The location is said to have opened in 1718.
• 300 Alamo Plaza, San Antonio, TX 78205
• thealamo.org
• The significance of this location is it was a
war ground for a Mexican war.
• The admission to the church is free.
THE ALAMO

• I chose this location because it is very pretty, and I

love Texas so it would be an educational experience
along with somewhere I want to visit. In this
location, the church is very pretty, but it also has a
background of a war that occurred here so I would
get to learn about everything that happened here.
• Upon visiting this location, I will see artifacts from
the battle and the historical church. Based on
images, it looks pretty old, but it is still beautiful. I
will also be able to see the same area that there was
once a war on, but now looks like a beautiful piece
of propety.

THE BATTLE OF LAKE ERIE

• This is free to the community.

• The event happened in 1813.
• The lake does not have any social media or a
website, but you can find information on
travel sites.
• While here you can relax to the clam water,
go fishing, or boating.
• There is no exact location, but surrounding
places such as 8696 E Lake Road, Erie,
16511 is right up against it.

LAKE ERIE
• Here, a battle happened when
commodore Oliver H. defeated a
British squadron. The lake was named
after the Erie Indian tribe that once
inhabited the shores.
• I would like to visit this place because
of how pretty it is and because it can
be very relaxing. Frequently, I remain
stressed about school and my future,
so having an experience that is calm
and could be beneficial.
PAIUTE RESERVATION

• This location was established in the 1900s;

however, it was home to the Paiute Indians.
• I cannot find any websites or social medias on
the location.
• It appears that there is no cost of visiting the
location.
• When visiting, you can see the things left behind
from the Paiute Indian tribe.
• US- 3955 and CA-99N
• This appears to be marked off but open to the
public for visiting.
PAIUTE RESERVATION

• I chose this location because I have a heritage

from Indian tribes, so I think it would be
interesting for me to learn a bit about them. I
also liked how it was not something major that
popped because I like remotely abandoned
locations.
• While here, I will be able to see some of the
things related the Paiute Indian tribe. I like how
it is sort of left as is so it is pretty authentic to
the way the tribe had it before they went
extinct.
FORT HALL RESERVATION

• 30 East Ross Fork Rd. Bldg 2, Pocatello, ID 83202

• (208) - 237 – 9791
• Upon visiting here, you can see many different
artifacts from different tribes such as the Nez
Perce.
• The Nez Perce tribe was active during the 1700's
and the beginning of the 1800's.
• The cost is $2 for adults, $1 for senor citizens, and
$.050 for youth 5-18.
• The location does not have social media nor a
website.
FORT HALL RESERVATION
• I want to visit this location because it has
information of multiple Indian tribes. Like the
last location, I find interest in Indian tribes
because I have Indian heritage. I do not know if
I have relation to the Nez Perce tribe; however,
it would still be interesting to experience and
increase my knowledge on.
• This location is significant because there are
major Indian tribes that have artifacts here.
Some of the land surrounding was where some
Indian was once, so it is interesting.
