An ordinance granting special benefits
to local government workers and
employees in the municipality of Samal,
province of Bataan, and allocating funds
for the purpose.
Special benefits shall be granted to permanent, casual,
Coterminous and Job Order personnel, as follows :
A.) Hospitalization:
1. At Orani District Hospital Letter of Guarantee
2. Private and other hospitals:
2. a less than Php5,000.00 Php3,000.00
2. b Five Thousand and above Php5,000.00

B.) Death:
1. LGU Share Php5,000.00
2. Abuloy (automatic payroll deduction) Php50.00

C.) Retirement for permanent employees:


1. Php3,000.00

Claims And Requirements
No claims shall be processed unless the following requirements are satisfied and submitted to the office of the
Mayor through the Local Finance Team For Verification and Validation.

A. For Hospitalization – Medical Certificate &


Hospital Bill (Certified Thru Copy), Certificate of
Employment.
B. For Death Benefit – Death Certificate (Certified
Thru Copy), Certificate of Employment.
C. For Retirement – Certificate of Employment

OVERTIME COMPENSATION
(Section 3)
 Overtime compensation is granted for work performed beyond the
normal 40 hours per week. Such occasions are very rare and only
your department head determines if overtime is necessary,
overtime must be approved for by department heads or the
Municipal Mayor as the maybe. However, since the Municipal
Government of Samal has no budget allocation for overtime pay
the employee’s compensation for approved overtime will be in the
form of compensatory time off granted in lieu of cash payment.
