1.DESIGN OF FOOTBALL STADIUM
AIM:
 To brings a sense of relief among the local people.
 To boost economic activities and human emotions towards football.
 To make sure people enjoy the sporting events that are held annually or on the occasional basis.
 To bring social benefits.

OBJECTIVES:
  Allow spectators to stand or sit and view the event.
 Give everyone an equitable view of the pitch.
 Provide comfortable temperatures.
 Shield fans from the extreme elements that can come from playing during heavy rain or wind.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This project helps to bring human emotions to the game. Also, this project can become one of the city’s iconic building
or landmark. In European countries, football has played a vital role in building or moulding public emotions. Football
stadiums are known as “ICONS OF SPORTS ARCHITECTURE”. This can also boost local economy and develop sports and
entertainment of the city. This project also helps to improve job opportunity.

JUSTIFICATION:
 Sports is part of human life, in recent years sports helped some of the countries to boost its economy. (EX: IPL-INDIA)
 Football is one such sports which has got fans and people supporting it throughout the world.
 Why Football stadium? Why not Cricket stadium?
Because, Cricket is one of the developed sports in India. So, it has got enough stadiums all over the country. But football is
one of the developed game throughout the world but one of the developing sport in India. Some countries have higher
economical boost by developing both Cricket and Football (EX: England). So, by building a stadium for football can divert
people emotions even towards football.

CASE STUDY: Munich Allianz Arena Stadium
 The Allianz Arena stadium, completed in 2004, hosted World Cup matches in Germany
2006 and became an icon of world architecture.
 With its unusual external and chameleonic appearance, its façade can change colors
according team there, red, blue or white.
 The Allianz Arena was born in the creative minds of two Swiss architects: Jacques
Herzog and Pierre de Meuron.
 The stadium is located in a suburban area of Munich, in the northeast of the city, and
very close to its territorial limit.

 The challenge in reinventing it for a new century was to build
on its extraordinary heritage and yet create a venue that
would be memorable and magical in its own right. With
90,000 seats, standing almost four times the height and
covering twice the area of the original, the new stadium is the
largest covered arena in the world.
 The stadium, with a retractable roof and a 135m high arch,
visible throughout London, stands as an association football
venue in Wembley Park in London. With 90,000 seats it is the
largest stadium to have every seat under cover.
