• In marketing, promotion refers to any type of marketing
communication used to inform target audiences of the
relative merits of a product, service, brand or issue,
most of the time persuasive in nature. .

Promotion
• In Imtiaz Super Market, Promotions design from head
office. Basic aims of promotion to increase sale volume.
• Promotion has two types
1. Bring promotion to increase customers foot traffic
2. Bring promotion to sale slow more articles
• Promotions plan by marketing department and
commercial department and they are giving promotion on
weekly basis.

ISM Promotions
• Advertising is created campaign to sell an organization’s
products, services or ideas. Through demographic
identification and research, paid for ads are created and
appear in print, on television, radio, billboards, flyers,
and internet banner ads in an effort to call attention to the
product, service or idea.

Advertising
• Now days social media platform is so common for
advertisement.
• In Imtiaz super market, time to time activity is running for
advertisement.
• Imtiaz super market used social media for advertisement also
signboard
• They used different methods for advertisement like media, social
media and newspaper etc.
• They are also doing own brand partnership with some brands to
promote them and conduct some activities that increase their
sales.

• A distribution channel is the path used to get a product
from the manufacturer or creator to the end user.

Distribution channel
• Imtiaz Super Store’s process of procurement involves
reducing its purchasing costs as far as possible so that it
can offer best price to its customers.
• The company procures goods directly from the
manufacturers, bypassing all intermediaries.
• Imtiaz Super Store has distribution centers. Imtiaz Super
Store’s own warehouses supplies about 80% of the
inventory.
• Each distribution center is divided in different groups
depending on the quantity of goods received. .

ISM Distribution Channel


• A pricing strategy is a model or method used to
establish the best price for a product or service. It
helps you choose prices to maximize profits and
shareholder value while considering consumer and
market demand.

Pricing strategy
• Imtiaz super market conduct market service and after
that, they try to make their prices lower than the market
to provide things to the customer on affordable price.
• They visit their comparator and conduct the survey of the
prices.
• After that, they share it to head office and make an action
plan to reduce prices

ISM Pricing Strategy


• ISM should increase parking area.
• Very narrow space that two trollies can not move so
space should increased.
• Long lines at the counter so counters should be made on
every floor.
• ISM should increase imported items.
• They don’t have proper signage for customers. They
should have it.
