INTRODUCTION OF

LEADERSHIP
Leadership is an important function of management which
helps to maximize efficiency and to achieve organizational
goals. The heart of management is dealing with people in
order to achieve the organizational goals , the success of
every organization depends upon the leadership qualities of
its manager. Good leadership is to win the support of the
people its to direct and co-ordinate the personal in any
organization. A sound way 0f increasing leadership through
the use of what are the called as three Parts RESOURCES ,
RELATIONSHIP , RESULT how a operates in this context
can make a difference between organization success one
feature.
LEADERSHIP DEFINITION
ACCORDING TO PETER DRUCKER : “ A LEADER IS ONE WHO
GUIDE AND DIRECT OTHER PEOPLE. HE GIVES THE EFFORTS OF HIS
FOLLOWER A DIRECT AND PURPOSE BY INFLUENCING THEIR
BEHAVIOR’’.

INFLUENCING OTHER TO ATTAIN GOALS.”
ACCORDING TO LOUIS A. ALLEN : “ THE LIFING OF MAN’S
PERFORMANCE TO HIGHER STANDARDS, THE BUILDING OF MAN’S
PERSONALITY BEYOND ITS NORMAL LIMITATIONS”.

Leader is a person who starts the work by
communicating the policies and plans to the
subordinate from where the work actually
starts.

A leader proves to be playing an incentive
role in the concern's working. He motivates
the employees with economic and non-
economics rewards.
Providing guidance

A leader has to not only supervise but also


play a guiding role for the subordinate.
Guidance here means instruction the
subordinate to effectively and efficiently.
Creating confidence

Confidence is an important factor which can


be achieved through expressing the work
efforts to the subordinates. It also important
to hear the employees with regards to their
complaint and problem.
Building morals

Morals denote willing co-operation of the


employees to toward their work and getting
them into confidence and winning their work.
Co-ordination

Co-ordination can be achieved through


reconciling personal interest with
organizational goals.

LEADERSHIP
Autocratic leadership
The leader tells his or her employees what to do it.
Without getting their advice.
Example-According to authoritarian, A
manager has newly joined a firm. He is still learning
how various things function in the organization. In
such a situation, he relies on the suggestion and
opinions of his team members, and lets them do the
thing the way they are used to, till the time he is
able to gain sufficient knowledge and can suggest
some more feasible change.
Democratic leadership
The leader includes one or more employees in
the decision making process, but the leader
normally maintains the final decision making
authority.
Example – bill gates followed this style,
use the resources available to make that
vision a reality. His success can be judged
from the way the personal computer industry
has advanced today.
Delegative leadership
In this style, the leader allows the employees
to make the decision. However, the leader is
still responsible for the decision that are
made although good leaders .
Example – laissez-fair followed this style,
these leaders believe that people would excel
if left alone to respond to their obligation and
responsibilities in their own ways.
