1. Explain the word “excel” in the first tip in your own words.
2. All tips start with an imperative sentence. Whereas “don’t” is necessary in
a negative sentence – like “Don’t compare yourself to others” – it is normally
not used in positive sentences – like “Prioritise sleep”. But here we have “Do
prioritise sleep”, “Do organise yourself” etc. Why is there this “Do”?
3. Time is a factor that plays a role in some tips. Which ones?
4. Another factor is pressure. In which tips does it play a role?
5. Which tip might be most helpful for your studies? Why?
