Initialization of AFS ECU
– Perform the initialization in the following cases:

d. Stop the vehicle on a level surface and keep the vehicle height unchanged.

Initialization of AFS ECU
– Initialization procedure
1. Connect SST to terminal 4 (CG) and 8 (LVL)
of the DLC3 using SST (09843-18040)

Service Point (Power Window System)


Initialization
– When the power window regulator motor assembly is
reinstalled or replaced, the power window control
system must be initialized
When replacing the power window regulator motor assembly with a new one
1. Fully open the window by fully pushing down the power window switch*, and hold the
switch for 1 sec. or more after the window is fully opened.
2. Fully close the power window by fully pulling up the power window switch*, and hold the
switch for 1 sec. or more after the window is fully closed to reset the glass position
• When removing / installing the power window regulator motor assembly
• When the window does not fully open
1. Fully close the power window by fully pulling up the power window switch*, and hold the
switch for 6 sec. or more after the window is fully closed (if the power window does not
move or stops halfway even when the switch is fully pulled, release the switch and fully
pull it again).
2. Fully open the window by pushing down the power window switch, and hold the switch
for 1 sec. or more after the window is fully opened.
3. Release the power window switch. Then fully push down and hold the switch for 4 sec.
or more.
4. Fully close the power window by fully pulling up the power window switch

NOTE: *: Network master switch assembly or power window regulator switch assembly
When the battery terminal is reconnected, it is not necessary to initialize the power

Initialization
– When the sliding roof ECU (Sliding roof drive gear
assembly) is replaced or removed and reinstalled, it
requires initialization.
Procedure

Press and hold the CLOSE switch until the sliding roof glass stops and then

2 Press and hold the CLOSE switch again for 10 sec. or more
Press and hold the CLOSE switch until the following movements finish and

The sliding roof glass starts sliding closed operation and stops at the fully
