Sender Communication source; encodes message

Encode Translating thoughts into a message

Message Output of encoding; sent to Receiver

Medium Method of message transmission (voice, writing, etc.)

Receiver Message Recipient; decodes message

Decode To translate a message back into meaningful ideas

Feedback Message Providing a confirmation that message has been successfully received
