Meeting Time 1 • Daily routine: (Opening Prayer, Exercise, Attendance Check, Weather Check, Days of the Week (through a song)
• Introduce the lesson of the day 
Work Period 1 * Drill: Identifying letter names and sounds through singing alphabet song with the use of chart/flash cards/video
* Sing a song: “Usa Kami Ka Panimalay (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQgyUd4BwS0) ” and give follow-up questions from the song
*Teacher’s presentation/discussion and learner’s interaction regarding the lesson. (Please refer to LAS, Lunes, Magtuon og Mag-usisa Kita for
presentation/discussion). Let them know also that we name/call our family members in different ways like for father-Tatay, Papa or Daddy ,
for mother- Nanay, Mama or Mommy, for siblings- Kuya or Manoy, Ate or Manang, …)
* Group Work: Answer Buluhaton 1 . (Please refer to LAS)
* Additional discussion, and answer independent activity, Buluhaton 2 (Please refer to LAS)
Meeting Time 2 Talk about the activities done during the day . Let the learners share their insight and learnings in Work Period 1
Supervised Recess Learners wash their hands and prepare their own food. They also socialize with their classmates and their teacher.
Nap/Quite Time Let the learners rest or engage in relaxing activities
Story Time/Songs/Poems Song/Poem: Any song/poem about members of the family.
Story: Any age and culturally appropriate story about members of the family. Then, give moral lesson of the story.
Work Period 2 • Drill: Counting Numbers 1-20
• Review: Recognition of numbers from 0-4
• Show picture of family with 5 members. Let them count and show number 5 on the board. Give more examples using real objects and also picture in
Activity Sheet, 5 sayote and 5 flowers.
• Answer Activity, Recognition of Number 5 (Please refer to Activity Sheets)
Indoor/Outdoor Activity Listen And Catch (Please refer to KTG pp. 160-161)

• Let learners (by group) answer Buluhaton 2
• Teach them how to write the uppercase letter A on air, then call each one/group to write it on the board.
• Answer Buluhaton 3 in LAS. (If they can’t able to finish 3.B, let them do it at home as assignment)

• Answer Activity Sheet on recognizing, tracing and writing number 5 (Please refer to Activity Sheets)

• Teach them how to write the lowercase letter a on air, then call each one/group to write it on the board.
• Answer Buluhaton 3 in LAS. (If they can’t able to finish 3.B, let them do it at home as assignment)
