A result management system is usually used in

school, college and universities for storing records
and display the result of students.

 All students information can be performed on it

through database.

Processing of examination result is one of the most

important activities of a university or schools.
Objective
 To automate the Result Management System.
 To reduce unnecessary paper works
 To cover the aspects of student information and
marks.
 To increase security
 To show results online from anywhere

Admin is the super user who enjoys all the privileges
Students can search their result using valid class and
roll number
Generation of the mark-sheet

Scope

 Secure: It is more secure, as the data are managed in the

system rather managing locally.
 Easy to use: Students can get their result from anywhere
after entry of mark by the teacher.
 Reliable and accurate: Result will be more reliable and
accurate with error free comparing doing manually.
Limitations

 Could not make the sign up option for new users

 Unauthorize persons can view the results
 Could not change the password by the admin
System Design

 Systems design is the process of defining the

architecture, components, modules, interfaces,
and data for a system.
  Process of defining and developing systems to satisfy
specified requirements of the user.
User Level

Students Result Management System is divided into two

modules:
User Level(Admin)

 Login
 Admin can register new students
 Admin can edit info of students by updating and
deleting of the records
 Admin can show all the students record if needed
User Level(Student)

 Students can search their result using valid standard and

roll number
 Students can view their result
 Students can print the result

 This web application will avoid the calculation.

 The system is web-based giving all the required student result
details; various future enhancements such as result printing,
aggregate calculation, etc can be incorporated into the system.
 Overall the result management system will be very helpful for
both students and authority.
