 Introduction

●Smart classes are modern methods that provide quality

education to the students for better learning outcomes
with the help of technology. Traditional classrooms are
losing their effectiveness as all the schools are adapting
smart classrooms in their educational institutions.
Smart classes offer new ways to engage students. They
are able to learn difficult concepts by watching videos
and animations. With this, learning becomes a fun and
enjoyable experience for students and improves their
academic performance as well.

 What is smart Classroom

● Smart classes offer new ways to engage students. They are able to learn
difficult concepts by watching videos and animations. With this, learning
becomes a fun and enjoyable experience for students and improves their
academic performance as well. Smart classes also enable teachers to
quickly assess and evaluate students based on their performance by using
innovative technological tools.
 Methodology (How it works)
●We all know that traditional classes have
been imparting education using
blackboard, textbooks, chalk and duster
where teachers have to prepare for
lessons in advance to teach. On the other
hand, students listen to these lectures and
take down notes. Sometimes teachers
have to take students outside the
classroom to practically demonstrate any
particular topic.
But when it comes to smart classes, their
objectives are the same i.e imparting quality
education but following different methods.
Smart classes use a variety of technological
tools such as computers or laptops
connected with the internet, LEDs, e-
textbooks, projectors, etc.
 With this, students are engaged for a longer time
with audio and video tools. Teachers can access
information immediately and explain to students.
And students are given virtual lectures from
experts from any part of the world. Teachers and
students can even interact with each other after
school through technology for effective learning.
Let us discuss the smart class and its importance
in imparting education.
With this, learning is becoming more fun and
interesting for the students along with complete
attention in the classroom. Smart classes are
rapidly changing the way teachers and students
are experiencing learning activities with innovative
technology. Technology is very important today in
the world and students have plenty of tools to gain
knowledge from.
Smart Classroom and its components

Smart classes are enhanced with

technology equipment for better learning
and teaching purposes. Here are types of
smart classes based on the equipment –
1. Basic smart classes are equipped with
gadgets like computers, laptops,
projectors, viewing screen, etc.
Intermediate smart classes are little
advanced then the basic smart classes
with the addition of small podium and
a control panel
Advanced smart classes have all the
equipment from basic to intermediate
but with the advanced features
● Smart classes use a variety of technological tools such as computers or

teachers. Teachers have developed an
impact on smart classrooms for the
following reasons such as interactive
sessions, detailed synchronization, east
maintenance, interactive learning
environments, accessibility of resources,
good teaching methods, confidence,
time management and personal guide
for the students.
 Impact of Smart Classes on Students

● Learning is fun when the subjects are interesting. Smart

classes are doing the same thing by imparting knowledge
along with fun elements. Quality education is what we
look for in students. Today’s world is very competitive and
one needs to keep up. It does not take away the concept
of traditional education but adds opportunities to the
existing one. Smart classrooms are opportunities that
provide students with quality education and help them in
understanding concepts better, improve their reading and
writing skills to achieve academic success. They have
helped students in the following areas such as
responsibility, time management, communication,
interaction, collaboration, retention power, accessing
online resources, learning new technological tools, good
academic results, etc.
 Future of Smart Classes Concept(Conclusion)

● The concept of smart classes is very effective and important for all the
schools in improving the teaching and learning environment. Everyone is
impressed with the idea of developing smart classes in every part of the
country so that all the students enjoy the learning phase in their life. The
classroom should be made a better place for students to learn According to
Indian Education Sector Outlook, the total number of schools in India is 1.3
million and only 10 percent of the private schools have adopted multimedia
classroom teaching. Smart classes offer new ways to engage students.
