1. What are the key concepts that you learned in this session?

In education Teaching is the concerted sharing of knowledge and experience which is usually
organized within a discipline and more generally the provision of stimulus to the psychological
and intellectual growth of a person by another person or artifact. The teacher must have a
pedagogical knowledge which is known as the art of teaching; which are the learning styles,
differentiated instruction and the assessment. In pedagogical knowledge uses group
discussion, modeling, graphic organizer, direct instruction, inquiry, debate and smart
whiteboard. Technological knowledge or the teaching tools such as computer, laptop,
whiteboard, cellphone, radio and etc. TPACK known as technological pedagogical and content
knowledge. It describes the kinds of knowledge required by teachers for the successful
integration of technology in teaching. It knows about the intersection of technology, pedagogy
and content. Benefits of integrating technology in the classroom; interact Learning Experience
where student engagement increased by 55% after the introduction of smart teaching into the
classroom. Another is excitement where students undoubtedly enjoy using technologies such
as VR and tablets which can hold their attention with which can hold their attention with
videos, graphics and other media. Plickers is an application where assessment tool made by a
teacher who was looking for a quick and simple way to check student understanding. This
assessment tool allows teacher to collect on-the-spot formative assessment data without the
need to have students use devices or paper and pencil also teacher can use with previous
planning or on the go as needed. These tool provides teachers with the data collection tool
that’s helpful for the teachers and fun for the students.
2. How can you integrate this in teaching and in the field of education?
As a teacher I use educational technologies in gamified learning where regular learning into an
engaging to the learners and easy to introduce these technological elements into the lesson.
Another one is in video-lessons where the students can create their own video projects as
alternative to essays and presentations and then share them digitally using a screen mirroring
device. Another is digital field trios where learners explore destinations around the world
without leaving the classroom.
