1. Teachers also work as curricularist. As a curricularist, how do you intend to make your ICT
integration more responsive and relevant?
 Teachers often find success when they present the opportunity to use technology in the
classroom. There are various benefits and effects when technology is used for educational
instruction and some may argue that not all of the effects are positive. Having an infinite
flow of information and entertainment available at any given time could be seen as a
distraction, but if technology is integrated into the classroom with routines in place that are
monitored or assessed, the pros of using technology in the classroom outweigh the cons. As
a curricularist, I’ll be integrating simple technology tools which can make a difference in
students.
1. Keep students engaged
Active engagement is a key part of any lesson plan. Whether students are working
independently or collaboratively, technology engages students because it is interactive.

2. Help students with different learning styles

Not all students learn and retain information in the same way or at the same speed.
Technology is an opportunity for teachers to differentiate instruction to modify information
for the appropriate learning capabilities of their students. The use of technology can also
allow students to work at their own paces.
3. Prepare students with life skills
Technology has become its own form of literacy because of how often it is used in everyday
life. Many careers use at least one aspect of Microsoft Office or Google Drive on a daily
basis: balancing budgets on spreadsheets, creating decks or slide shows to be presented, or
attaching documents to emails to communicate important information. Allowing students to
learn and refine these skills prepares them for life beyond the classroom.
 Technology resources – computers, mobile devices like smartphones and tablets, digital
cameras, social media platforms and networks, software applications, the Internet, etc. – in
daily classroom practices, and in the management of a school. Successful technology
integration is achieved when the use of technology is routine and transparent, accessible
and readily available for the task at hand and supporting the curricular goals, and helping
the students to effectively reach their goals. When technology integration is at its best, a
child or a teacher doesn’t stop to think that he or she is using a technology tool – it is second
nature. And students are often more actively engaged in projects when technology tools are
a seamless part of the learning process. Effective integration of technology is achieved when
students are able to select technology tools to help them obtain information in a timely
manner, analyze and synthesize the information, and present it professionally. The
technology should become an integral part of how the classroom functions – as accessible
as all other classroom tools.
3. What is unique with ICT integration in language teaching that must be thoroughly
considered when developing a learning plan?
4. An innovative teacher should integrate ICT in his teaching activities. Integrated learning
seems effective in developing language skills and aspects of English. Integrating ICTs helps
teachers to be satisfied in their profession and develop positive attitudes towards the
school. Technology has been used to help and improve both teaching and learning.
Integrating ICT in the classroom probably make students more engaged in every activities.
We all know that technology provides different opportunities to have better outcome that
probably very useful in different ways.
5. The successful integration of ICT into the learning environment will depend on the ability of
teachers to structure learning in new ways, to merge technology appropriately with a
pedagogy, develop socially active classrooms, and encourage co-operative interaction and
collaborative learning and group work. For many, this requires a different set of skills from
those they currently possess. In addition, ICT has the potential in preparing students for life
in the 21st century. Through learning ICT skills, students are ready to face future challenges
based on proper understanding. ICT use can help students to develop the competencies
needed for the current globalization. This is because ICT can help students to develop their
skills, boost up their motivation and widen their knowledge and information.
