SOCIAL INEQUALITY

• occurs when resources in a given society are distributed


unevenly, typically through norms of allocation, that
engender specific patterns along lines of socially defined
categories of persons.
SOCIAL INEQUALITY

goods in the society brought about by power, religion,
kinship, prestige, race, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual
orientation, and class.

place or origin or culture.
GLOBAL INEQUALITY OR
INTERNATIONAL
• refers to economic differences between
countries It refers to the unequal distribution
of scarce resources and value across
territories .
HEALTHCARE

• defined as differences in health status or in


the distribution of health determinants
between different population groups.
