• Name-calling
• Inappropriate sexual comments
• Taunting
• Threatening to cause harm

Physical bullying involves hurting
a person’s body or possessions.

•Physical bullying includes:


• Hitting/kicking/pinching
• Spitting
• Tripping/pushing
• Taking or breaking someone’s things
• Making mean or rude hand gestures
•Social bullying includes:
• Leaving someone out on purpose
• Telling other children not to be friends
with someone
• Spreading rumors about someone
• Embarrassing someone in public

Social bullying, sometimes referred to as


relational bullying, involves hurting
someone’s reputation or relationships.

Cyberbullying is bullying
with the use of digital
technologies.
It can take place on social
media, messaging
platforms, gaming
platforms and mobile
phones.

Examples include:
•spreading lies about or posting embarrassing photos or
videos of someone on social media
•sending hurtful, abusive or threatening messages,
images or videos via messaging platforms
•impersonating someone and sending mean messages
