What is the difference between the medium temperature
refrigeration system in Figure 1–2 and the AC system in
Figure 1–1?

Pressure and Temperature
The pressures and temperatures on the condenser side are the same because they both use R22 refrigerant
and reject evaporator heat into 95°F ambient air.

However, the return air blowing over the evaporator in the medium-temperature system is only 35°F.
Because the space temperature is lower, the evaporator temperature had to be lowered.
