system
The solar system unites a group of
astronomical objects that revolve
around the Sun.
A star is a huge ball of fire that
continuously emits light and heat.
There are eight planets in the Solar
System; Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars,
Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.
Mercury is the closest planet
to the Sun and the smallest.
Venus is the second planet in the solar
system, and it is one of the smallest planets.
Earth is the third planet. And it is
estimated that it is approximately 4.6
billion years old.
Mars is known as the red
planet.
Jupiter is the largest planet in
the solar system.
Saturn is the only planet with
a ring system.
Uranus is the seventh planet in the solar
system. It is one of the largest planets.
Neptune is the last planet in the
solar system.
