How does acid rain affect ecosystems?

 Acid rain can bring certain consequences to the

environment and since due to the acid the plants
can be affected they are not so resistant to the
chemicals that have certain chemicals that can
kill the plants.
How is acid rain produced in the
atmosphere?
 Acid rain is caused by a chemical reaction that
begins when compounds such as sulfur dioxide and
nitrogen oxides are released into the air. Sulfur
dioxide and nitrogen oxides dissolve very easily in
water and can be carried by the wind to very
distant places.
