Who is required to prepare an annual report?
All public companies are required to prepare an annual
report. The annual report must be reproduced and available
REPORT in both print and electronic form. (Article 2 & 3 POJK No.
29/2016)
The Annual Report contains at least:
1. Financial overview.
2. Information about shares (if any)
3. Report of the directors.
4. Board of commissioners report.
5. Company profile
6. Management analysis and discussion.
7. Corporate governance.
8. Social and environmental responsibility.
9. Audited financial statements,
10. Statement of the board of directors and board of commissioners.
1. Must understand the business context.
2. Annual reports and website information are indeed information for
Annual Report Context the public, but additional information is needed to understand and
interpret them.
3. Additional information: news in newspapers, statistical data from
BPS, annual review from a consulting firm, credit rating from a credit
rating agency, personal experience.
