 ABSTRACT

=>The tourist advisor application enables users to locate

distinct places to visit. They get a detailed description of the
site along with the nearby places that they can see. Using this
application, the user can select a location to see and get all
information regarding that place.

=>This application can show restaurants, hotel rooms,

famous places, or the site’s history, all you can get in the same
place. The Android Tourist Advisor App design is entirely
interactive and smooth and allows the user to figure out
things quickly.

 PROBLEM STATEMENT

=>As traditional practice when a tourist visits different

places they have to engage professional tourist guides. The
guides provide information about the city but we have to
spend handsome amount of money to get such services of a
professional guide. It is expensive for most of the tourists.

=>The aim to design and develop the project is to produce

an online tourist advisor for the city to facilitate domestic
and international tourists. Due to unavailability of proper
tourist guide tourists face many problems.

 EXISTING SYSTEM

=>Well normally, the tourists or basically any person with a

‘fish out of water’ tag on their back, had either to rely on the
old timer ways to get to their destination/s in a foreign place,
by asking for directions or engage professional tourist guides
who can provide information about the city. It is expensive
for most of the tourists. All guides are not professional and
sometimes the guide also could not give proper or desired
information to the travelers.

 PROPOSED SYSTEM

=>The tourist advisor app can be use in place of professional

guide due to many reasons like reduce cost of guide, get more
accurate information needed for decision making, giving
weather and social networking services. The tourists can use
this guide for different purposes like searching a location ,
calculate distance between two locations, getting basic
textual information, pictorial information of particular place.
It is freely available any time whenever a tourist need.
