CALCINATION
Definition:
To heat a substance to a high temperature but below the melting
until they loss their moisture or volatile components is called
calcination process
OR
The process of separating volatile substances from fixed
inorganic matter by heat without fusion. This process is called
calcination or calcining.
EXPLANATION
• During calcination solids are heated at high temperature.
 This process is done to remove the volatile substances, water
or oxidize the substance
 This process is also describe as purification process.•
 The product obtained after calcination is called calcine
 .• This process takes place at temperature below melting point.
