Electric Currents and Circuits
We all know that we need different types of electric
lamps, or tubelights to light our homes at night. In
our daily life, we also listen to music and see our
favourite programs on television. During summer, we
keep our homes cool using fans or coolers. What
makes all these appliances work? It is electricity!
Electricity is perhaps the most convenient and widely
used form of energy.

Some sea creatures, like electrical eel, can produce


significant amounts of electricity. Our biological actions
are also linked with electricity in one way or the other.

Different energy sources, that we use to generate
electricity, can be renewable or non-renewable.
