Data communication involves sending and receiving digital data between computers via transmission mediums like wires or cables. A computer network connects multiple computers to share data and resources. There are different types of computer networks including personal area networks (PANs), local area networks (LANs), metropolitan area networks (MANs), and wide area networks (WANs). PANs connect devices like computers and phones within a limited space. LANs connect devices within a building or campus using wires or WiFi. MANs extend LANs over a larger city or town using cable networks. WANs connect LANs and MANs across different geographical locations, countries, or the world using transmission lines or satellites.

of sending and receiving digital data between two or more computers via transmission medium such as a wire or cable wireless. Computer Network: A group of computers NETWORK which are connected to each other for the purpose of sharing their data and resources is called computer network. PAN PERSONAL AREA NETWORK
LAN LOCAL AREA NETWORK
MAN METROPOLITAN AREA NETWORK
WAN WIDE AREA NETWORK
PERSONAL AREA NETWORK: It is a network formed by connecting a few devices like computer, laptop, printer, mobile, tablet, computer etc. A personal area network may be wired or wireless for example- a Mobile phone connected to laptop through wired PAN with two phones communicate with each other through Bluetooth technology formed a wireless pan. LOCAL AERA NETWRK: It is a network that connects mobile, tablets, mouse, printer, etc. Placed at a limited distance. The graphical area covered by a LAN can range from a single room ,a floor, an office having one or more buildings in the same privies laboratory, A school college or university campus the connect is done by means of wires, ethernet cables ,fiber optics or wife. METROPOLITAN AREA NETWORK: Man is a expended form of LAN which covered a large geographical area like city or town cable T.V. network or cable based broad band internet services are example of MAN. This kind of network can be extended up to 30-40km . Some times many LANs are connected together. WIDE AREA NETWORK: This network connects computer and other (LANs and MANs) which are spread across different geographical location of country or indifferent country. A WAN could be formed by connecting to other LAN by wired or wireless media. This used in large business, education media etc connected through WAN. Thanks for watching
