When Nuh's people refused to stop worshipping idols and said he was just a man like them, Allah sent a flood to destroy the disbelievers while Nuh and his followers who believed in Allah were saved on the ship.

    How idol worship started?
    • There were righteous people in ancient
    times. When they died, shaitan taught
    people that you should make their
    statues so that you can remember them
    forever.

    • Slowly people started worshipping


    them. The idol worshippers thought
    that they bring good to them and
    answer their duas.

    • They refused to leave their worship and


    said:

    The chiefs of the disbelivers among his


    people said: 'We see you but a man
    like ourselves.'"Al-Qur'an 11:27

    pictures in houses?
