 In Americas we have:
-the white
-the black
-the yellow
-the red
skinned people and mixtures of
them
There are three
main groups of
„mixed people”
which are
The white plus
the Indians
make the
mestizos
The black plus
the white make
the mulattos
The black plus
the Indians
make the
zambos
BUT there are
others, for
example:he’s
black chinese
So how did it happen? How come? What’s the reason?
The answer is
BIG MIGRATIONS 
Migration or human migration is the permanent change of the place of life by an individual or a group of people.It can be within a
country or international.
 In the history of the
settlement of Americas
there were huge
migration waves.
 People from Asia came to Alaska and
Canada starting two tribes:

-the Aleutas or the Aleuta tribe in Alaska

The first one. -the Inuits or the Inuit tribe in the arctic
regions of Canada

Both those tribes are considered original,

indigenous or aboriginal people of America.

Columbus and his
discovery of America
in the XV century.

TRICKY QUESTION
We know that it was
Christopher Columbus
who discovered
America. So why isn’t it
called Columbia?

the name America
come from?
ACTUALLY…

•The name America came

from another discoverer of
this continent. His name
was Amerigo Vespucci. The
name America was
suggested by a map maker
Martin Waldseemuller
who didn’t know that it
was Columbus who had
discovered America before
Amerigo.
When the whites came to America
they were like „New land , tresures,
gold , new land but…who will
work there ? We don’t want to.”
They wanted the Indians to work on their lands but …
-the Indians didn’t want to
-they faught
-they died of european diseases
-They were NOT wanted by the white people

SO
the whites found another way – slaves
Another wave came to Americas- the slaves
Another big wave –black people from Africa-slaves  They were brought without
their will.
Today
Today numbers of people
migrate to America from all
over the world, for different
reasons.They migrate
especially to the USA and
Canada.
As a result, both Americas
are inhabited by about a
billion of people and the
number is growing.
Unfortunately
Migration waves caused
many problems to the
-wars -locking up in reservations -health problems
original people like the
Indians:

-industry (objects
-being pushed out by the produced by the indians
-ending the nomadic way -genocide (killing the
european traditions and lost its value because
of life Indians)
culture there were much cheaper
ones made by factories)

-tribes were no longer

tribes, they lost their
language, culture and
traditions
