• Dhaka Bank started its official
operations on July 5, 1995 with an
authorized capital of Tk. 1000 Million
and paid up capital of Tk. 100 million

• As of December 31, 2021, Dhaka Bank


has 109 branches around the nation, including
2 Islamic Banking Branches, 21
Sub Branches, 3 SME Service Centers, 75
ATMs, 20 ADMs, 1 Customer Service Center,
and 2 Offshore Banking Units.

Recruitment Process
Firstly, a needs assessment is done for determining the needs or "gaps" between
current conditions of a job position and desired conditions or "wants".

❖ The work position is defined.

❖ Check different scopes and recruitment options related to specific post.

❖ Once the job location is clearly defined, DBL goes to advertise for job opportunities through print media, its website etc.

❖ After collecting the applications, they are screened and create a shortlist.

❖ Finally shortlisted applicants are put through a written test and selection interview.

❖ The reference check is done to get information about the person's character, quality of work and to validate the information
received from the candidate through his / her resume and interview.

❖ Finally Dhaka Bank Limited issues an offer letter to the selected applicant.

❖ The new staff is now ready for the orientation process.

The HR Division along with the concerned function Head will be responsible for processing applications, screening
applicants, and shortlisting qualified candidates. The HR Division contacts the qualified candidates and arranges
