    Based on the diagram, there are data for all class IX students. From
    the observations there were 40 students in the class. So how many
    students like apples?

    Discussion. Number of students who like running:


    apples = 100% – (manga + pears +grapes)
    =100%–(29% + 26% + 15% )
    = 100% – 70% = 30%
    So the number of students who like apples is 30/100 x 40 = 12
    children
    So the number of students who like apples is 12 children.
