Material
As we had no restriction on the material so I have taken the wood as the material .
what is wood ?
It is the hard fibrous substance lying beneath the bark of tree.
Type of wood
1. Soft wood :Softwood comes from the coniferous trees. These trees are also known
as evergreen trees as leaves do not fall till the new ones grow. Softwood usually grows
in regions having a cold climate. Coniferous trees grow fast; hence, they are less
expensive as compared to hardwood.
2. Hard wood : Hardwood comes from deciduous trees that have broad leaves, produce
fruits or nuts, and are generally inactive in the winter. Hardwoods have a more dense
structure in comparison to softwoods.
3. Plywood :A structural material consisting of sheets of wood glued or cemented
together with the grains of adjacent layers arranged at right angles or at a wide angle.
selection of wood
As I have selected plywood as my material because it easy to work and it is easily available
Wood joinery used
As we have 13 joinery in wood and from that I have used the Butt joinery
What is butt joints ?
Two different wood pieces simply sit side by side, with the butt of one workpiece adjacent to
the butt of another workpiece.
My work making process
First I took ply then I cut it in to 3 rectangle two in same size and
one in different size then I cut 2 square ply and 4 stick like
beading Patti. Then I joint the square and rectangle frame and
made the table and then made two hole at the side of the table
and made a gun shape moving frame with the beading Patti and
then screw it in the two hole made in the table and then made a
siting surface the 3 rectangle frame and screw it to the beading
Patti .
