OBJECTIVE

1) To evaluate Neurological status of full term neonates born after severe perinatal
asphyxia and to compare it among neonates given standard care and standard
care along with thiamine .

2) To compare in neonates given standard care vs standard care along with thiamine
a) Time to start Feed
b) Time to start full entered feed .
c) Time to feed with spoon .
d) Time to feed on breast
e) Seizures
f) Duration and no of Antiseptic drugs taken
g) Total hospitality stay
h) Neuroimaging and EEG where possible

Exclusion Criteria
1) Babies dying with 7 days of being born

2) Congenital malformation .
