 Boarding
• Boarding is the entry of passenger onto the
aircraft, using different means of boarding
available at the particular airport like jet way
or coach.
 Boarding duties
• The roles based at the airport will require you
to carry out duties both at the check-in desk
and boarding gates. Duties Include: Greeting
and checking passenger documentation(ticket
and boarding pass). To check passengers in
using a computer based system, issuing
boarding cards and baggage labels. Process
passengers at the boarding gate.

• Check that boarding facilities and gate monitor
are displaying flight information.
• Ensure dangerous goods and are prohibited
articles notices are displayed at the boarding
gate.
• Before boarding, ensure passenger and their
cabin baggage are security screened.
 Others
• If passenger-handling staff are trained and
authorized to operate cabin access doors.
• Smile and greet the passenger.
• Follow safety requirement for fuelling in
progress as per airline policy.
• Follow policies for passenger requiring
assistance or pre boarding.
