 Sewing requires great skill. Having
the right tools and materials to use
enhances one’s expertise. Sewing
without the right tools and materials is
like trying to cook without the right
ingredients.
Sewing materials and different tools are used in
garment construction. The skillful use of the
different sewing tools and materials will help
take body measurements and draft patterns with
accuracy and speed. Success in sewing calls for
the right tools at the right time.  
All tools must be used appropriately and must be
kept properly. One must know how to use them
to save time and produce the best result. A
complete set of sewing tools and materials are
presented to the learners for them to be familiar
with and use them properly.
