Rules

Select your weapons loadout. Choose which weapons you want in the chin turret and the
AH-1 Cobra
wings. Mark it on your Technical Data Page or a separate note page. Remember to mark of
any ammo that you use.

Flight path: Each numbered space on the map is an Engagement Area (EA). Start at EA1 and
roll 1D6. On a 5+ you spot something and roll another 1D6. Check the “Target Description
List” to find out what you spotted. You must destroy the target you spot before you can
advance to the next EA. If you did not spot anything, move on to the next EA. Continue this
until you run out of ammo (Incomplete Mission) or reach EA 23 (Complete Mission).

Attack a Target: Choose between firing the chin turret or wing mounted weapons. Decide

how many bursts or rockets you will fire this turn. Mark them off your Technical Data Page.
Roll 1D6. You hit the target on 5+. Add the damage from the weapons you fired. You
destroyed the target if your damage exceeds the target’s damage level. You can make multiple Rank Awards Mission #____
passes at the same EA as long as you have ammo. Move on to the next EA once the target is
destroyed.

When attacking an ADA site: roll 1D6. Your Cobra is hit on a 5+. Take 1D6 points of damage. Points_______
When attacking Personnel: roll 1D6. Your Cobra is hit on a 6 and takes 2 points of damage.

If you exceed 10 points of damage total or if you receive more than 5 damage points in one Mission Log Book
turn, roll 1D6. On a 5+ you are shot down. On 1-4 the mission is over and you must return to
base without attacking anything else. You get credit for any targets destroyed, but not for Mission #____ Mission #____ Mission #____

(The alternate method is to use the bigger maps provided and roll 2D6 for the Primary Target
location. The Secondary Target is 2D6 spaces away from the Primary Target. The Target
Description is predetermined on the Target Description List. Roll 2D6 to move from EA to EA.
If you reach your Target roll to attack. If you do not reach your target roll 1D6. On a 2+
nothing happens and you can roll 2D6 and continue to the next target. On a 1, you receive a
request for immediate support to attack the EA you are currently in. After you destroy that
target roll 2D6 and continue to the next target. This happens every time you fail to reach your
targets or on your way back to base.)
