    01 Reactive/traditional policing
    * This model applies as a response strategy to crime
    alerts.
    * The police officer would respond when the call came.

    * Under this policing, there is nothing in place to try to pre-


    vent crime from happening.
    02 Problem oriented policing
    * In this model, there is an emphasis on trying to prevent
    crime from happening.

    *In this model, police officer works on identifying and analyz-


    ing crime in their area.

    * This focus on identifying the real problem and dealing with


    it completely.
    03 Intelligence led policing
    * This model is a style of policing where it manages risk by
    identifying crime patterns.
    *This policing does not focus a lot on crime, but instead fo-
    cuses more on surveillance and identity elements within the
    society that were responsible for the repeated incidents of
    crime.
    * This model is used as a means for sharing information
    between various agencies that deal with law enforcement.
    04 Community oriented policing
    * In this policing, police officer needs to engage in commu-
    nity members in preventing and eliminating crime.

    * Mutual trust.

    * Give and take relationship


    05 SARA - Scanning, analysis,responses,
    assessment
    * A type of policing which involves four steps in problem
    solving and decision making process.

    * It is a model that is used to help understand the under-


    lying causes of problems to identify solutions and to as-
    sess the effectiveness of responses and find alternatives
    to improve them.
    06 * Predictive policing
    * A model of policing which includes predictive and analyt -
    ical techniques in law enforcement to identify potential of -
    fenders and possible criminal activity.
    * This involves algorithms to analyze massive amounts of in-
    formation in order to predict and help prevent potential fu-
    ture crimes.
