 Life ater death in Hinduism!
• Most of the Hindus believe in the cycle of
birth, death and rebirth, which is called
‘Samsara’
• It is mentioned in the Bhagvad Gita “As a
person puts on new garments, giving up
old ones, the soul similarly accepts new
material bodies, giving up the old and
useless.”
(Bhagvad Gita 2:22)
 Life after death in Buddhism!
• Buddha accepted the basic Hindu
doctrines of reincarnation and karma, as
well as the notion, common to most south
Asian religions, that the ultimate goal of
the religious life was to escape the cycle of
death and rebirth (samsara).

continuance of life after death. Many baptized
early Christians were convinced they would not
die at all but would still experience the advent of
Christ in their lifetimes and would go directly into
the Kingdom of God without death. Others were
