GHUNNAH

Tajweed rule
• Ghnnah means Nasal sound from your nose cavity

The way of pronunciation :


• If there is any Noon or Meem has a Shuddah you have to do Ghunnah
for 2 beats

• ‫نّ ّن – ّم‬
= Ghunnah

Note: if the reader stops on a word ending with Noon or Meem


Mushaddad, the Gunnah for the Meem or Noon Mushadad still
have to be applied.
