TAJ MAHAL
The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble
mausoleum on the right bank of the
river Yamuna in Agra, Uttar Pradesh,
India. It was commissioned in 1631 by
the fifth Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan to
house the tomb of his favourite wife,
Mumtaz Mahal; it also houses the tomb
of Shah Jahan himself. Construction of
the mausoleum was essentially
completed in 1643, but work continued
on other phases of the project for
another 10 years.
STATUE OF LIBERTY
The Statue of Liberty is
a colossal neoclassical
sculpture on Liberty Island in New York
Harbor in New York City, in the United
States. The copper statue, a gift from
the people of France, was designed by
French sculptor Frédéric Auguste and
its metal framework was built
by Gustave Eiffel. The statue was
dedicated on October 28, 1886.
RED FORT
The Red Fort or Lal Qila is a historic
fort in the Old Delhi that historically
served as the main residence of the
Mughal emperors. Emperor Shah
Jahan commissioned construction of
the Red Fort on 12th May 1638,
when he decided to shift his capital
from Agra to Delhi. Originally red and
white, its design is credited to
architect Ustad Ahmad Lahori, who
also constructed the Taj Mahal.
SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE
The Sydney Opera House is a multi-
venue performing arts centre in Sydney.
Located on the foreshore of Sydney
Harbour, it is widely regarded as one of
the world's most famous and distinctive
buildings and a masterpiece of 20th-
century architecture. It is designed by
Danish architect , but completed by an
Australian architectural team. The
building was formally opened by Queen
Elizabeth II on 20 October 1973
AJANTA CAVES
The Ajanta Caves are 29 rock-cut Buddhist
cave monuments dating from the second
century BCE to about 480 CE in the
Aurangabad District of Maharashtra state in
India. Universally regarded as masterpieces
of Buddhist religious art, the caves include
paintings and rock-cut sculptures described
as among the finest surviving examples of
ancient Indian art
EIFFEL TOWER
The Eiffel Tower is a wrought-iron lattice tower
on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France. It is
named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel. it
was constructed from 1887 to 1889 as the
centerpiece of the 1889 World's Fair. Although
initially criticised by some of France's leading
artists and intellectuals for its design, it has
since become a global cultural icon of France
and one of the most recognisable structures in
the world.
