has announced one of the greatest
and most technological advance
projects in history. This project
involves transforming a desert the
size of Belgium into a high-tech
city region.
CONCEPT OF NEOM SMART CITY?

• Neom looks as futuristic

and science-fictiony as one
could imagine: the 26,500-
kilometre square site will
stretch 460km along the
coast of the Red Sea in the
Tabuk Province of Saudi
Arabia
WHAT IS SPECIAL ABOUT NEOM CITY?

• NEOM is not about building a

smart city, it is about building
the first cognitive city, where
world-class technology is fueled
with data and intelligence to
interact seamlessly with its
population. NEOM's sustainable
approach will have a global
impact on the water sector.
INTRODUCING VERTICAL FARMING

• This city will lack fresh food

and will be dependent on
others, So for that I personally
want to do vertical farming to
do business as well as provide
people with some fresh food.
This will be much more
cheaper then importing from
other countries.
INTRODUCING NEW MEANS OF
TRANSPORTATION
• This city only has
one mean of
transport that is latest
underground
Railway. I personally
want to introduce
other means of
transport.
ECONOMICAL IMPACT

• The main goal of a smart city is to

optimize city functions and promote
economic growth while also
improving the quality of life for
citizens by using smart technologies
and data analysis. The value lies in
how this technology is used rather
than simply how much technology is
available.
