To address the issue of book availability in Asia, The Asia Foundation's
Let's Read program has developed and distributed digital books for
children. As a result of children's poor reading habits, the government
seeks to stimulate their interest in reading. The government calls it the
School Literacy Movement (GLS). Because it aims to improve students'
literacy skills, the literacy movement is very important in this country.
In addition, schools must not only complete a 15-minute reading
assignment every day.

The aim of this study was to find out the system of student participation during the
extensive reading exercise facilitated by Let's Read, as well as the reactions of
students during the extensive reading exercise for class XI at a SMA Karawang.
based on the previous research above, the researcher wanted to know the process
of reading activities using the Let's Read digital book in class. The use of digital
books as textbooks in schools is a technological revolution, especially in developing
countries. Digital books provide students, teachers and schools with additional
educational tools or instruments that can help or enhance the learning process.

04 hypothesis of the study
the use of Let's Read as a book in the digital era is considered
effective as a way to read books online with various features that are
useful for students such as book levels, themes, translations,
languages, and audio. Let's Read is considered as classroom
learning material for learning English. It turns out that there are
several advantages to be gained by implementing Let's Read
because of the many advantages. Researchers found that reading
exercises using Let's Read can help them in their reading activities.
