Purchasing Power of Peso at Inflation Rate, bilang isang mag-aaral.
BASKET OF GOODS o
MARKET BASKET
Ito'y itinalaga ng pamahalaan upang mapadali
ang pagsuri ng pagtaas ng presyo ng mga
produkto at serbisyo.

Nakapaloob dito ang piling produkto (food at

non-food) na palagiang kinukonsumo ng mga
tao.

Nakabase sa Market Basket ang Price Index.

Price Index
Nabuo na siyang kumakatawan sa kabuuan at average
na pagbabago ng mga presyo sa lahat ng bilihin.

Ito ay depende sa dami at uri ng bilihin na gustong

suriin.

Implicit Price
Ito ay may kinalaman sa average price index na ginagamit upang
pababain ang current GNP sa constant GNP.

Ito ay ginagamit upang alamin ang halaga ng GNP batay sa nakalipas na

taon.

Ito ay ginagamit upang maisama sa pagkukuwenta ng GNP ang

anumang pagbabago ng presyo.
2. Wholesale Price Index
at Retail Price Index

Sinusukat nito ang pagbabago ng presyo ng mga intermediate goods,

crude materials, at yaring produkto sa bilihang wholesale at retail.
3. Consumer Price Index
(CPI)
Mas kilala na panukat ng average na pagbabago ng presyo ng mga
bilihin na pangkaraniwang kinokonsumo ng mga nakararami.

Ang inflation rate ay nakabatay sa CPI.

Sa pamamagitan nito, nailalarawan ang pamumuhay ng mga mamimili.

Ito rin ang ginagamit na panukat sa kakayahan ng Piso na makabili ng

mga produkto at serbisyo. (Purchasing Power of Peso - PPP)
