UMT Literary Society

Purpose

- To encourage the development of an enthusiastic literary and

artistic community among UMT students
- ULS serves as a chance for participants to hone their abilities,
explore their interests, and interact with a larger literary
community

Membership

– 130 Students are currently part of ULS

– New members were given an introduction to the UMT Literary Society and its
events at an orientation session
– An information session was organized to give prospective members a rundown
of the organization's goals, events, and prerequisites for membership
– To join the Literary Society, interested people filled out the membership form
and submitted it where the form requested their name, contact details,
major/area of study, and a statement of interest in the society
– An induction drive was conducted to welcome new members to ULS.
Achievements

Previous Achievements:
– Due to the persistent work of all the teams who have served as the executives for the previous
three years up to now, UMT Literary Society has the honour of being the first-ever Club of the
Year at UMT. In Pakistan, ULS has won over 150 individual awards in total
In the previous tenure, I served as the vice president of ULS. Now that I am the president, I
continue to work towards the development of this society

Current Achievements:
– 2 Positions Secured at NUML University
– 1 Position Secured at GCU
– 1 Position Secured at Writing Olympiad
