Introduction
Filling is method in which liquid is packed into the
bottle such as water , Juice , Milk and other
beverages It is controlled by using various methods
including motor, ultrasonic sensor, proximity sensor,
conveyor belt.
Filling can be automated by using Programmable
Logic Controller (PLC) and Arduino
microcontroller. Arduino is the major element of
the whole process used in this project.

Cont..
The automation process is controlled according
to the logics of the controller device called
Arduino . It is used as a digital computer to
automate and control the industrial activities.
The advantages of using Arduino Uno is
smooth operation, low cost and high filling
speed.

Statement of the problem
 The manual filling operation has many
shortcomings like spilling of liquids while filling
it in bottle, equal quantity of water may not be
filled, delay due to natural activities of human,
slow in production, hygiene problem, labor cost
and can cause loss to the company.

Cont..
 This problem faced by small industries makes us
to design this system. Additionally out of using
Adriano microcontroller other machine of filling
found in the market is very high price because of
PLC. And it requires complex changes in hardware
and program configuration if varied liquid volume
is required to be filled and most of waste time.

The general objective of the project is to design and develop an
Arduino based automatic bottle filling system that helps for the
small enterprise which performs their activities manually to
automate system with time saving and low cost price

Implantation process

Then the "MOTOR" starts and

Step 2 the conveyor moves forward

If the Sensor detects the presence of bottle

Step 3 which is in position with the water thank,

then the conveyor will stop and then the
bottle starts filling

Cont..

After the bottle has filled, then the

Step 5 conveyor starts running to get ready
the next bottle

If the sensor does not detects any

Step 6 presence of the bottle, the conveyor
keeps on moving

And the process respects itself

Step 7 repeats itself from step 3

Recommendation and Conclusion
 Designing and implementing part of the proposed system, as

being the main task, has been achieved with great

success, supported by simulation in conjunction with
experimental results
 This project is cheaper, efficient , low cost and time saving
It also can be easily upgraded to the intended future
plan , but it has not high power handling large activities
rather it only designs for small firms
