SIMULATION CAMERA ANIMATION

WHAT IS ANIMATION?
Animation is a method of photographing successive
drawings, models, or even puppets, to create an illusion of
movement in a sequence. Because our eyes can only retain
an image for approx. 1/10 of a second, when multiple
images appear in fast succession, the brain blends them
into a single moving image.Nov 18, 2020
SHAPE ANIMATION

PRESENTER: MACASO, AALIAH KYLA I.

What is shape animation?
An object that was created in the vector graph can be
stretched and shaped. This technology is called shape
animation. The language of the forms is much more
than just a few geometric forms. They all represent
different ideas; each has its own purpose.

Shape animation is a technology in which geometric
objects are changed, starched, transformed into any
other form. By assigning points that are keys, the
figures are transformed from one to another. In this
type of animation, we have a limitation of mechanics:
animation should be a separate layer and a single
drawn shape, doesn’t any symbols.

PROCEDURAL ANIMATION

PRESENTERS:

JAINUDDIN, MUJAIPA VENDIOLA, VANESSA

What is Procedural Animation?

A procedural animation is a type of

computer animation, used to
automatically generate animation in
real-time to allow for a more diverse
series of actions than could otherwise
be created using predefined
animations.
SIMULATION?

PRESENTERS:

SABANAL, PRINCESS JOY BARASAN, JENNYBELL

WHAT IS SIMULATION?

Simulation & Animation studies methods and

algorithms for the computation used in
producing images intended to create the
perception of motion. The emphasis is on
techniques that process 3D graphics data.
Why simulation is used in animation?

Using a suite of advanced physically-based

simulation systems where physics primarily
controls the motion of cloth and hair as they
respond to the way a character moves, simulation
setups enable the other creative teams to control
the characters' performances with a fine degree of
custom detail.
CAMERA ANIMATION

PRESENTER: CARASCO, AIRA JANE

WHAT IS CAMERA ANIMATION?

An animation camera, a type of rostrum camera, is a

movie camera specially adapted for frame-by-frame
shooting of animation. It consists of a camera body with
lens and film magazines, and is most often placed on a
stand that allows the camera to be raised and lowered
above a table often having both top and underneath
lighting. The artwork to be photographed is placed on
this table.
For stop motion photography, the camera can also be
mounted on a tripod or other support, pointing in any
desired direction.
Since most animation is now produced digitally,
new animation cameras are not widely
manufactured. Image scanners, video cameras and
digital SLRs have taken their place.
