GREETINGS
 There are different ways to greet each other in Japan. Mostly a bow
is used. It indicates respect for the other person and it is impolite
not to use it.
FOOD & DRINKS
 In Japan it is customary to eat sushi, tempura, Onigiri and ramen. It
is also common to drink green tea or sake...
CLOTHING

 In Japan, traditional
clothes are still used
to this day. For
example:
1. Yukata/kimono
2. Obi
3. Geta
TABLE MANNERS
In Japan, you have to wait for everyone to have their
food before you start eating. When someone is in charge
of serving others, he cannot serve himself. When
finishing serving, a Japanese always stays at the end
waiting for someone to serve him last.
BEHAVIOR
 It is a Japanese custom to remove shoes before stepping
on the floor of houses. This is because the Japanese
believe that when they arrive at a house they carry bad
vibrations from the outside in their shoes and,
therefore, they take off the shoes they wear outside.
Inside the house special sandals are worn.
