DEPENDENCE
A.Physical Dependence – the body’s
chemical need of a certain drug. When the
user stops using drug , he/she may cause
negative withdrawal symptoms such as
cramps, fever, vomiting, anxiety, trembling
and nausea.
B.Psychological Dependence – the result of
an individual’s repeated use of a certain
drug for emotional or social reasons. He/she
craves the drug strongly to feel less anxious
around others or to escape from fear, sadness
or problems.
