◦ Statement bisa berupa positif maupun negative

Tag berpola
EXAMPLE : the cat is sick, isn’t it?
1. inversion, tobe + Subject
2. Subject nya menggunakan kata ganti orang kecuali there
3. Statement positif maka tag nya negative, dan sebaliknya
4. Kalau negative kata not harus digabung, misalnya aren’t , don’t , haven’t
5. Tenses pada tag sama dengan statement nya
Perhatikan: bila statementnya V1 tag nya pakai don’t atau doesn’t,
statementnya V2 tag nya pakai didn’t

6. Kalimat perintah V1 + ket atau be +KS + Ket, tag nya will you?
Ex : Finish your home work, will you?

kalimat larangan Don’t + V1 atau Don’t + be + KS, tag nya will you?
Ex : Don’t make me upset, will you?
7. Let’s + V1, tag nya shall we? Let’s watch the movie, shall we?
8. Statement negative ( never, rarely, seldom, nobody, no one, nothing, etc) tag nya positif subject they
Ex: No one comes to my house, do they?
9. Perkecualian : I am not rude, am I?
I am diligent, aren’t I?
