• Climatic ( hazards formed due to Atmospheric changes)


Hurricanes, storm surges, flooding, drought, fires

• Geomorphological (Morphology or form of the earth surface may result in


hazards events)
Landslides/Rockfall/soil creep, flooding

• Biological (Is an organism or a by-product from an organism that is harmful or


potentially harmful to other living things, primarily human being)
Covid-19, Avian flu, Zika,

• Technological (hazards as a result of man’s activities)


Flooding, oil spills, dam failures, nuclear radiation
