Hiring of NGO EoI was invited earlier and 6 NGOs were shortlisted, but
the process was cancelled on the objection of The World
Bank.
Fresh EoI published on dated 03.09.2020.
EOI opened on 26.09.2020. 11 bidders have
participated in EoI. Evaluation under process.
Hiring of Advertising Agency EoI has already been invited and 6 firms have been
for media campaigning shortlisted. The RfP & ToR is already approved by The
World Bank. RfP is being sent to shortlisted firms
shortly.
Benefit Monitoring Expert Invitations invited on dated 08.07.2020. A total number of
(BME) 15 applications were received. only one candidate is
eligible. Hence it is proposed that this invitation for the
post of BME expert should be recalled once again. 8

Important Issue: ANICUT CONSTRUCTION

•Construction of Anicut at River Kunda is a Linked Activity to the Khargone WSS.
•A separate Contract has been awarded by MPUDC for construction of anicut
•Work is in progress
•This work was to be financed by NVDA but despite several reminders and follow up
no funds have been received from NVDA.
•A payment of more than Rs 1 Cr is due to the contractor but MPUDC is not able to
make payment due to unavailability of funds.
