British multinational company Unilever. It is
based on Bonifacio Global City, Taguig since
2016. They are global consumer goods company
that offers beauty and personal care products,
foods and refreshments and home care products.

Unilever has enabled its office-based
employees to work from home and
implemented safety measures for its site
and field-based employees such as
provision of personal protective
equipment (PPE) and shuttle services.

The company also announced its


commitment for 100% guaranteed pay for
all employees that are unable to work due
to the constraints brought about by the
ECQ, as well as other incentives that help
with meals and PPE for its skeletal
workforce in the factories, distribution
centers, and field sales.

Recognizing the support needed by the


retail value chain, Unilever Philippines
pledged a Php 1 Billion cash flow relief for
vulnerable customers and early payment
for financially constrained, small suppliers.

In order to achieve the objective, Unilever Philippines and NCCC
Supermarket collaborated with Facebook Marketing Partner
Shoplus, a social-selling service with the necessary expertise to
build an experience for Messenger. NCCC Supermarket built an
automated Messenger experience that included an e-
commerce store with over 1,000 products, order placement,
multiple payment options, and delivery scheduling.
