One day, a young girl named
Goldilocks was walking alone
through a forest. She had
been feeling very hungry
because she hadn’t eaten any
breakfast. She looked for
somewhere to eat.

Eventually, she found a house.

No one was around, and the
front door had been left
open. She decided to enter the
house.
First, she noticed that there
were three bowls of porridge,
waiting on the table. She could
see that the owners of the
house were making lunch
before they had gone outside.
Goldilocks knew she shouldn’t
eat other people's food, but she
was so hungry. She sat down and tried the
biggest bowl. ‘Ouch, too hot!’
said Goldilocks. So she tried
the next biggest. ‘Oooh, too
cold!’. As she had tried the
biggest two bowls, she decided
to try the smallest. ‘Ah, just
right!’, said Goldilocks.
After she had finished the
porridge, she felt sleepy. She
had been walking all day and
wanted to have a rest. She
walked upstairs and found a
bedroom with three beds in it.
First, she tried the biggest bed.
‘Ouch, too hard!’ said
Goldilocks. She tried the next
biggest. ‘Oooh, too soft!’. As
she had tried the biggest two
beds, she decided to try the
smallest. ‘Ah, just right!’, said
Goldilocks. She slowly fell
asleep.
 ‘Someone has been eating my

porridge!’ said Papa Bear.
house had returned home.
They were three bears: Papa ‘Someone has been eating my

However, they were shocked

They thought they had made a
mistake. Maybe they had eaten

out.

‘Let’s go and get some sleep.’

said Mamma Bear.

‘Good idea!’ said Baby Bear.

Slowly, the bears walked

upstairs to the bedroom.
When they got to the bedroom,
they were again surprised.
‘Someone has been sleeping in
my bed!’ said Papa Bear.
‘Someone has been sleeping in
my bed too!’ said Mamma
Bear.
‘Someone IS sleeping in my
bed!’ shouted Baby Bear.
By then, Goldilocks had woken
up. She saw six angry eyes
staring at her, above three rows
of sharp teeth. Terrified,
Goldilocks jumped out of bed
and ran out of the house. She
would never go into somebody’s
house without an invite again!
