Basic skills in Volleyball


 Serving - Is the act of putting the ball into play to start a
rally.
 Passing - Also known as the forearm pass or the underhand
pass, is the act of receiving the ball from an opponent's serve
or hit and directing it to a teammate for an offensive play.
 Setting - Setting is an important skill in volleyball that
involves accurately placing the ball in the air for a teammate
to hit it over the net.
Basic skills in Volleyball
Attachking - Attacking in volleyball is the offensive action of hitting the ball over the
net with the intention of scoring a point.

Blocking - Blocking in volleyball is a defensive action that involves jumping and


reaching above the net to stop the ball from crossing over to the defender's side of
the court.
Digging - Digging in volleyball is a defensive action that involves passing a hard-
driven ball that has been hit by the opposing team.
